Impatience is a Virtue

impatient-1When you’re building a business, advisors will tell you to be patient and to let it happen. In coaching, I like to see the impatient side of an agent emerge. When your patience has run out, you’re hungry, you’re ready to make things happen in your business and you want it NOW.

A healthy dose of impatience stirs you on to create lots of productivity. Nothing happens when you’re content, peacefully waiting for lots of leads to call you. It won’t happen. You have to be so impatient that you pick up the phone to call everyone, create an irresistible marketing plan on auto-pilot, and follow up with everyone, in order to make things happen. Being relentless to meet your weekly appointment goal gets you to where you need to be.

You see, our clients that close the most transactions and help the most people, are the most impatient. It’s not a bad trait. It just needs to be funneled into the proper format for ultimate success.

Impatience excites us as coaches. How impatient are you?
